Laura Hunter LLB (Hons) Dip Couns Reg MBACP

 

As well as private practice, I work in the NHS in IAPT as a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.  I also work as a couples therapist with Highgate Counselling Centre. I hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, a recognised British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited qualification. Additionally I hold a post graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural therapy and I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

 

I have also worked with No Panic, a charity which focuses on helping people who suffer from panic attacks, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorders and other related anxiety disorders.

Before training as a Counsellor I worked as a solicitor in the City for a number of years and I am familiar with the pressures of these environments.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP and BABCP and abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
